Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a highly related field is required.

Responsibilities
  • Perform bank reconciliations in NetSuite and partner with the billing team to ensure customer payments are properly applied before reconciliation.
  • Administer Relay's Navan expense platform and Brex corporate card platform, including employee onboarding and offboarding workflows, spending policies, policy-adherence monitoring, and identification of unusual or out-of-policy activity.
  • Serve as the liaison between Accounting, FP&A, and People Services for payroll-related activity in NetSuite.
  • Ensure payroll data is accurately and timely reflected in NetSuite and collaborate with FP&A to translate payroll data into departmental headcount spend and appropriate expense categories and cost centers.
  • Own assigned balance sheet accounts by preparing and recording journal entries, completing balance sheet reconciliations, and performing bank reconciliations.
  • Support a timely and accurate month-end close and reliable financial reporting in accordance with United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Partner with People Services to ensure payroll transactions are accurately and timely fed into NetSuite and maintain clean payroll-related general ledger records.
  • Collaborate with FP&A to allocate and report operating expenses by department across General and Administrative, Sales and Marketing, and Research and Development categories.
  • Ensure transactions are coded to the correct cost center and operating expense classification to support management reporting.
  • Partner with the billing department to ensure timely and accurate application of customer payments and maintain clean accounts receivable records.
  • Lead fulfillment of internal and external audit requests for assigned areas by providing documented workpapers and timely auditor support.
  • Administer the corporate travel and expense card program and Navan platform, including card policy administration, card issuance, limit adjustments, and monthly transaction approvals.
  • Collaborate with Accounting and IT to optimize integrations between third-party expense management, payroll, and close-automation applications and the NetSuite enterprise resource planning system.
  • Learn and leverage artificial intelligence and automation tools to improve productivity, accuracy, and efficiency in financial work.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement internal process and reporting improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls for designated accounts.
Desired Qualifications
  • Progress toward the Certified Public Accountant designation is preferred.
  • Direct experience navigating and utilizing NetSuite is preferred.
  • Prior experience with payroll system reporting is preferred.
  • Experience with financial close-automation platforms such as FloQast, Numeric, or NetClose is preferred.
  • Experience with modern travel and expense platforms is preferred; familiarity with Navan is a strong plus.
  • Internship experience in a corporate accounting or public accounting setting is a plus.
