Requirements
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy or Master's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program is required.
- A current state Physical Therapy license, or eligibility for licensure, is required.
- CPR certification and Basic Life Support certification are required.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive initial and ongoing physical therapy evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals and patient goals.
- Provide hands-on orthopedic interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy techniques, neuromuscular re-education, gait and balance training, IASTYM, Kinesiotaping, and modalities as indicated.
- Educate patients and caregivers on diagnosis, prognosis, home exercise programs, and injury prevention.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with clinic, payer, and regulatory guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with referring physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Ensure a high standard of patient satisfaction and quality of care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment.
- Participate in team meetings, continuing education, and clinic initiatives as required.
