Why You’ll Love Practicing Here: Founded in 2018 by Dr. Lesley Leach and Dr. Anjuli Hein after their successful collaboration at Indian Tree Animal Hospital, 5280 Veterinary Care was built on the belief that exceptional medicine starts with collaboration, curiosity, and a commitment to doing what's best for every patient and client. Led by Medical Director Dr. Leach, who brings over 20 years of veterinary experience and a passion for developing gold-standard care alongside pet owners, we are proud to be part of a collaborative network that also includes Founders Green Animal Hospital and Indian Tree Animal Hospital.
Here, you'll practice alongside an experienced team that enjoys working through interesting cases, sharing ideas, and continually learning from one another. Our newly expanded hospital is equipped with modern technology, advanced diagnostics, and an exceptional support team, allowing our doctors to focus on practicing thoughtful, gold-standard medicine. We value collaboration beyond our own walls, partnering with an established network of board-certified specialists to provide advanced diagnostics, specialized procedures, and comprehensive treatment options while maintaining continuity of care for the patients and families who trust us.

Veterinary Practice Partners helps veterinarians run animal hospitals by providing an ownership-backed partnership model and handling the business side. It acquires majority stakes (roughly 70%) in practices while doctor-partners keep about 30% ownership, allowing clinicians to focus on patient care. VPP delivers back-office support across finance, marketing, HR, recruiting, and technology to standardize operations and support growth. Its goal is to expand a network of high-quality animal hospitals by enabling veterinary practice ownership through a scalable platform backed by private equity.
