OverviewKircliffTeamMembersare responsible forgreeting guests,supplying scuffguardsto the guestsvisitingtheKircliff,keeping theKircliffcleanandacting as a source for mountain information!This position will spendmost of their shift inside theKircliff, on the mountain at the new and improved LonePeak. Flexibility, excellent guest service skills, mountain knowledge, the ability to work enthusiastically in a team setting,the ability to be on your feet for hours at a timeand enjoyment of the outdoors and the mountain environment area must. We want you to be able to ride daily so that you can share your firsthand knowledge of Tram accessed terrain and enthusiasm for Big Sky with our guests. The abilityand desireto ski/ride ata high levelisa must. All other duties as assigned.

ResponsibilitiesKircliffTeam Memberswill be in continuous contact with guests, employees, and the Mountain Operations teamincluding:Lift operations, Ski Patrol, and Lift Maintenance throughout their workday. The Mountain Services team works directly or indirectly with all other departments and divisions at the resort.
KircliffTeam Memberswill belocatedat the topof Lone Peakin theKircliffBuilding.AllKircliffTeam Members, will have a supervisor that will oversee all daily operations and team functions at theKircliff.KircliffTeam Memberswill rotate througha number ofpositions throughout the day. These positions will vary fromgreeter,to passing out scuffguardsto guests,to sharing information aboutLonePeak and surrounding mountainranges, as well as,directingtraffic in thelowerandupperterminal oftheKircliffbuilding.
Daily physical work requirements may include:
KircliffTeam Memberswill spend extensive amounts of time in the outdoor environment.As they will be workingfive, 8-hour shifts and will be present on the mountain from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.Temperaturesat the summit of Lone Peakcan be quite cold and windy. Our team will need to be outside even in inclement weather, and insidetheKircliffwhich can remain cold at lowertemperatures.

At Big Sky Resort,KircliffTeam Membersare:
- Responsible for meeting,greetingandassistingguests as they arriveattheKircliffand throughout the ski day.
- Knowledgeableabout;surrounding mountain ranges,ski lifts, mountain terrain, Mountain Village restaurants, amenities, shops, and activities & events toassistin guest service.
- Familiar with the daily snow report, grooming report, and open/closed runsoffthe Tram.
- Responsible for distributing and collecting scuff guards.

- Previousexperience working in a guest service environment is a plus!
- Must be able to ski or ride a green circle trail
QualificationsThere arehigh expectationsforKircliffTeam members. To be successful in this position, aKircliffAttendant mustpossessa high-level knowledge of surrounding mountain ranges,Big Sky Resort Mountain terrain, and general resort information. They must be able tooperateindependently and as a team tofacilitatethe amazing experiences that our guests expect while visiting theKircliffat Big Sky Resort. They must be able to communicate effectively with each other, and throughout the Mountain Services department. The ability to problemsolve, be proactive, be on their feet for hours at a time and be reliable day in and day out is alsoa must.We are looking for highly skilled skiers and snowboarders, who are looking to ski the toughest terrain that Big Sky has to offer.A week of paid training at the beginning of employment will provide much of that information, but spending time off at the resort and the surrounding area is necessary to gainadditionalknowledge.
