Requirements
  • 5+ years of proven experience in insurance account management or related roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in commercial insurance account management or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of insurance policies and regulations, to include commercial and personal lines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze client needs and tailor insurance solutions accordingly, particularly in a commercial context.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with policyholders and carriers to ensure excellent service and effective management of accounts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing client needs and resolving issues promptly.
  • Proactively review client accounts to identify opportunities for policy updates, cross-sales, and coverage enhancements.
  • Assist clients with claims inquiries, policy changes, and billing concerns, ensuring efficient and accurate handling.
  • Collaborate with the sales org and underwriters to support new business opportunities and account retention efforts.
  • Stay informed about company insurance products and industry trends to provide expert guidance to clients.
  • Obtain and maintain Property & Casualty insurance licenses, completing continuing education requirements as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations in all account management activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, policies, and account activities in CRM systems.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge of products, services, and best practices.
  • Actively contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Foster a positive, professional image of the company in all interactions with clients and stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or Professional certifications in insurance account management, CIC, ARM, CPCU or other insurance certifications
  • Prior experience working with property management or real estate clients.
  • Familiarity with Entrata software products and services.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales or retention targets.
  • Advanced knowledge of insurance industry trends and developments.
