About the job
- Leadership experience in electrical testing, commissioning, field services, power systems, industrial services, engineering services, maintenance, repair, or similar technical service organizations.
- A minimum of 5 years in a Senior Management or Operations Management role with direct P&L responsibility.
- Full P&L ownership experience and a proven ability to manage and improve EBITA performance.
- Experience developing annual operating plans, budgets, and forecasts.

- Maintain full P&L responsibility.
- Apply financial acumen to drive business decisions.
- Conduct risk analysis to support operational and strategic initiatives.
- Manage and lead staff, including recruiting, onboarding, training, coaching and mentoring, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Cultivate and promote a positive, collaborative culture within the direct team and across partner teams.
- Demonstrate Shermco’s core values, including commitment to safety, accountability for performance, commitment to excellence, and service to customers.
- Serve as a leader and mentor to ensure processes, procedures, and standards are consistently executed and upheld at the department and company levels.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and industry standards.
- Ensure team participation in and compliance with company safety programs; confirm completion of new-hire safety training and required periodic training; support the development, implementation, and enforcement of workplace safety policies; and assist with workplace incident or accident investigations.
- Address and resolve issues, stepping in on complex or sensitive matters involving customers, contracts, human resources, or safety.
- Oversee budget management and ensure appropriate allocation of resources.
- Monitor and evaluate operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement; implement new technologies and process enhancements to optimize operations.
- Provide regular updates and performance reports to senior leadership, including progress against strategic goals.
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- An MBA is strongly desired.
