Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related discipline
  • At least 8 years of proposal development experience, including 4 years as a proposal manager
  • Work experience at a cloud tech company, SaaS preferred
  • Knowledge of proposal best practices, APMP certification preferred
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Ability to work with and influence all levels of staff
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong judgment and ability to analyze complex situations
  • Flexibility to take on new assignments and responsibilities as needed
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage responses to RFPs, RFIs, and other requests for information
  • Analyze customer requirements and develop a strategy and win themes for each proposal
  • Produce compliant, persuasive, and accurate proposals to win large and strategic accounts
  • Write, edit, and proof technical and persuasive proposal content
  • Work with subject matter experts and executives to research, write, and fact-check content
  • Write and manage content for a proposal knowledge base
  • Review proposal processes and tools and implement improvements
  • Help triage and track customer requests and support cases
  • Assist with additional marketing and sales support activities
  • Work some evenings and weekends if required to meet deadlines
