Requirements
  • At least 4 years of CNC programming experience, including at least 2 years of 5-axis programming experience.
  • Strong fluency in Mastercam, Fusion 360, or HSMWorks.
  • Native Haas control experience or comparable Fanuc or Siemens control experience.
  • Fluency in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and the ability to read drawings to specification.
  • A documented track record of reducing cycle time for specific part families.
Responsibilities
  • Program computer-aided manufacturing systems for 5-axis vertical machining center and mill-turn lathe work using Mastercam, Fusion 360, or HSMWorks.
  • Develop toolpath strategies for stainless-steel and aluminum semiconductor-grade parts to typical ±0.001-inch tolerances.
  • Create probing routines for in-process inspection.
  • Manage the tool library, tool-life tracking, and offsets at the Zoller presetter.
  • Create pallet-pool lights-out programs for the UMC fleet.
  • Provide design-for-manufacturability feedback to the design team.
  • Create process documentation that remains usable through operator turnover.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with trunnion-mount 5-axis programming.
  • Pallet-pool or lights-out experience with Fastems or similar systems.
  • Mill-turn programming experience on DS-30Y-class machines.
  • Background working with semiconductor, aerospace, or medical-device parts.
  • Mastercam Multi-Axis or HSMWorks Adaptive Clearing certification.
