Electrician

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation, alteration, addition and/or repair of electrical systems.

As our Journeyman Electrician, you should be able to:

• Perform all electrical tasks with general supervision
• Read blueprints
• Understand and be familiar with rough-in work
• Install feeders
• Size wire and conduits
• Install and terminate switchgear and devices
• Prepare layout for installation, including underground layouts and rough-in
• Comprehend electrical theory and NFPA 70 National Electric Code

If you have experience in the following, it’s a plus:

• Install, troubleshoot and terminate control wiring per drawings
• Troubleshoot motors and controls
• Fire alarm systems (with current fire alarm license)
