- A higher-education qualification equivalent to BAC+2/3 with a specialty in electrotechnics, MAI, climate engineering, or an equivalent field is required.
- Four to five years of experience in a similar utilities maintenance position in the pharmaceutical or food-processing industry is required.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) rules is desirable.
- Electrical authorization for high voltage/low voltage (HT/BT) work is mandatory.
- The role requires safety awareness, autonomy, responsiveness, rigor, service orientation, and a sense of responsibility.
- The role requires the ability to work across production buildings, laboratories, and the site's outdoor areas.
- Maintain and operate the site's utility energy systems, prioritizing the safety of people and property.
- Perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and new works on softened and purified water production and distribution systems.
- Maintain ventilation systems and air-handling units serving office areas and cleanrooms.
- Maintain industrial and clean steam production and distribution systems, including gas/electric boilers, heat exchangers, softeners/reverse-osmosis systems, and boiler-water treatment.
- Maintain domestic hot-water and heating production and distribution systems, including gas boilers, steam-to-water heat exchangers, tanks, pumps, and controls.
- Maintain chilled-water and cooling production and distribution systems, including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and controls.
- Maintain compressed-air and vacuum production and distribution systems.
- Provide on-call coverage for emergencies such as leaks, electrical incidents, gas leaks, and severe weather during weekdays and/or weekends as required.
- Cover technical shutdown periods during summer and winter.
- Manage external contractors.
- Training in the operation of steam boilers is appreciated.
- Training in the operation of lifting equipment and elevated work platforms is appreciated.
