- Customer Service Rep/Outside Sales Support
Role Summary
- We are seeking a detailed orientated and customer- focused Customer Service Rep/Outside
- Sales Support to join our team. The CSR will support the Outside Sales Representatives and is responsible for order entry and primary day-to-day customer communication. They are also responsible for accurately and promptly entering orders so our production team can create a quality product matching the customers specifications. This role requires excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and a good understanding of manufacturing workflows.
Responsibilities
- Works directly and supports assigned Outside Sales Representative
- Audits orders received for price, quantity and delivery
- Respond to customer inquires via phone, email, and online portals in a professional and
- timely manner.
- Enter and manage customer orders using ERP order management systems
- Coordinates and assists Graphic Design department with customer artwork and artwork
- proofing.
- High attention to detail- able to easily catch spelling and pricing difference.
- Checks and maintains customer inventory in the database as well as in the warehouse.
- Provide accurate pricing, lead times, and product information.
- Coordinate with production, shipping, and sale teams to ensure customer specifications
- and delivery deadlines are met.
- Handle changes, cancellations, and adjustments to orders efficiently.
- Proactively communicate with customers about order status, delays, or issues.
- Resolve complaints or concerns with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
- Proactively assist finance team regarding collections on past dues, COD and other
- special payment terms.
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required, associate or bachelors degree preferred.
- Ability to work in an open office environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities / adaptable/ ability to
- work under pressure
- ERP system experience preferred – willing to be certified.
- Attention to detail and well organized
- Familiarity with printing process, materials, or label production a plus.
- Decision making capability and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- after training.
- Able to multitask and work on multiple projects
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to respond to common inquires or complaints from customers
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in
- situations where only limited standardization exits.
