Requirements
  • The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • The candidate must hold an unrestricted Registered Nurse license in good standing in the State of Georgia.
  • The candidate must hold American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • The candidate must have two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Critical Care, Emergency Services, or Electrophysiology.
Responsibilities
  • Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines and the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
  • Manage care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital.
  • Practice nursing in accordance with Northside Hospital's values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is preferred.
  • An additional life support credential such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification, or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units, is preferred.
  • Visual color acuity is preferred depending on the role in specific units.
