About the job

Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience building security-critical systems in production, with significant implementation work rather than only reviewing or assessing.
  • Practical depth in cryptography and key management, including encryption, key management systems, secrets handling, and signing in real systems.
  • Ability to design and reason about secure systems and serve as a technical peer to senior engineers.
  • Experience with multi-tenant software-as-a-service isolation, including data-isolation guarantees required by regulated customers.
  • Secure-coding skills with Python on the backend and TypeScript/Node.js on product surfaces.
  • Ability to integrate security checks and gates into continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
Responsibilities
  • Own, operate, harden, and evolve key management, bring-your-own-key, envelope encryption, and signing systems across cloud and on-premises deployments.
  • Extend protected health information and personally identifiable information scrubbing and strengthen data-protection foundations for regulated enterprises.
  • Own encryption at rest and tenant isolation in the storage layer.
  • Maintain and expand secure-by-default templates and reference implementations embedded in the software development lifecycle.
  • Lead threat modeling across system boundaries, including the execution engine, connector trust boundaries, and multi-tenant isolation, using AI-assisted threat-modeling tools.
  • Improve security scanning coverage, signal, and continuous integration enforcement to prevent critical findings from reaching production.
  • Translate audit, compliance, and incident-response requirements into implementation in the codebase.
Desired Qualifications
  • Cloud and API security fundamentals on Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, or Amazon Web Services.
  • Experience securing on-premises, self-hosted, or air-gapped deployments.
  • Experience in regulated domains such as healthcare or finance.
  • Familiarity with AI/large language model platform security, including agent execution, connector trust boundaries, prompt risk, and tool-call risk.
  • Startup or growth-stage experience.

About the company

Stack AI builds an enterprise-ready, no-code platform for creating and deploying AI agents and workflow automations. It uses a visual drag-and-drop interface to connect data sources and large language models with business systems like SharePoint, Snowflake, Salesforce, Google Drive, and Notion, enabling knowledge-based assistants, contract analysis, RFP responses, and data extraction. The platform lets teams assemble AI-powered workflows that fetch data, run models, and deploy applications without heavy coding, speeding internal tooling. Its differentiators are enterprise-focused deployment options (including on-premise), compliance (SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA), and tiered pricing, aimed at reducing deployment time and improving model accuracy across back-office processes.
