Requirements
  • 1-3 years of corporate accounting experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.
  • Exposure to annual external audits.
  • Proficiency in Excel, with a strong understanding of spreadsheets and data manipulation.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent documentation and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee and maintain the daily cash application process, including manual elements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist with monthly bank reconciliation and related reporting.
  • Partner with internal teams to address client payment receipts and respond promptly to requests, building and maintaining strong working relationships.
  • Communicate daily payment receipt details to the third-party claims processor.
  • Provide weekly cash application status updates to key stakeholders.
  • Perform selected month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciling various balance sheet and income statement accounts.
  • Support audit and SOX compliance requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline processes, helping to minimize manual effort and improve efficiency.
  • Adapt to and manage manual workflows as needed while proposing scalable improvements.
  • Contribute to special projects and additional tasks as assigned.

  • Experience working in a large healthcare system or similar organization is preferred.
