Job Description

ProSidian Seeks a Business Process Engineer - Transition and Economic Development headquartered near Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland Area to support an engagement for Government - Federal (USA) Sector Clients.

This HR | Exempt position currently best aligns with the Business Process Engineer Labor Category and ideal candidates exhibit the ability to visualize, analyze, and convert data and experiences to meet performance challenges while confidently engaging in productive “Jugaad” and dialogue targeting mission success.  ProSidian Team Members work to provide a broad range of general management and business support services, including program and project management; governance and strategic integration; policy analysis; curriculum and training; and data analytics and evaluation for Veterans Benefits Administration, Transition, and Economic Development requirements.  Work in this environment helps promote, advance, and instill a culture of civilian readiness for service members, Veterans, and their families by providing early access to VA benefits and resources as well as access to a network of partner organizations working together to accelerate their economic empowerment and well-being.

Business Process Engineer - Transition and Economic Development Candidates shall work to support requirements for Technical General Support Services (GSSC) related to Environmental Consulting Services (NAICS: 541690), Scientific and Technical Consulting Services - Energy (NAICS: 541690), and Professional Scientific Technical Consulting Services (NAICS: 591690) and Performs management and support of the analysis, design, development, and implementation of diverse, enterprise-wide processes and application systems. Tasks may include the design study process; conducting studies in support of system redesign and business process reengineering, improvement and management; developing implementation plans; and supporting the process of implementing and sustaining improvements.

Qualifications

The Business Process Engineer - Transition and Economic Development shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position.  Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. All employees, in the performance of their respective responsibilities, shall conduct themselves in the highest possible standards of ethical and business conduct.  The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.

Minimum Education for The position as a Business Process Engineer: BA/BS degree for Business Process Engineer: BA/BS degree | Positions as Business Process Engineer in this environment require 5 years Minimum Experience providing services and working in structured environs as a Business Process Engineer specifically related to Transition and Economic Development and Strategic Support for Specialized areas such of Govt. Policy and operational programmatic efforts related to the transition of Service members from military service to civilian life. TRAVEL:  Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, events, site visits, or other training requirements.  Travel is coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.

LOCATION:  Work shall be conducted at or in proximity to Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland Area

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)

• Business Tools –  understanding and proficiency with business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate is advanced with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word, and proficient with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio with the ability to quickly learn other tools as necessary.
