Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • 5–7 years of experience in hospitality marketing, lifestyle branding, community engagement, or cultural programming.
  • Strong digital marketing skills with experience in content creation, social media strategy, and marketing campaigns.
  • Proven ability to create events, activations, or partnerships that enhance guest experience and strengthen community ties.
  • Excellent storytelling, communication, and visual-content skills.
  • Highly organized, flexible, and comfortable navigating a fast-paced pre-opening environment.
  • Experience working in resort, adventure, outdoor, or lifestyle-driven hospitality is a plus.
  • Local market knowledge or a strong curiosity for Sedona’s culture, landscape, and creative community.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the property’s marketing plan including digital channels, brand storytelling, advertising needs, and local partnerships.
  • Lead all content development including website updates, email campaigns, and social media collaborations.
  • Manage relationships with media partners, influencers, photographers, videographers, and the Sedona Chamber/DMO.
  • Ensure all digital and print collateral reflects Outbound’s personality and brand standards.
  • Use analytics to evaluate marketing performance and adjust strategies based on engagement, demand patterns, and KPIs.
  • Partner with CoralTree’s Brand & Marketing team on larger campaigns, creative needs, brand initiatives, and messaging consistency.
  • Create, plan, and execute on-property events, signature programming, and seasonal activations that reflect the Outbound ethos of nature, adventure, and community.
  • Build and nurture relationships with local guides, artisans, makers, wellness practitioners, and small businesses to deliver authentic guest experiences.
  • Support experiential sales efforts by curating cultural touchpoints that enhance group and leisure stays.
  • Work alongside Operations teams to ensure seamless implementation of events, activations, and guest-facing experiences.
  • Capture photography and short-form video content that showcases the resort, activities, and Sedona lifestyle.
  • Write compelling copy for digital platforms, print collateral, and campaigns that highlight the property’s unique culture.
  • Act as the on-property brand ambassador, championing consistency across all touchpoints and ensuring every message conveys the Outbound Sedona voice.
  • Represent Outbound Sedona within the local community through partnership development, networking, and event participation.
  • Support familiarization trips, media visits, adventure collaborations, and influencer stays.
  • Participate in local tourism events, business networking functions, and community activities that elevate Outbound Sedona’s visibility.
  • Participate in weekly leadership, commercial, and pre-opening strategy meetings.
  • Assist with marketing reporting, KPI tracking, and quarterly updates.
  • Communicate market insights, trend shifts, and partnership opportunities to the General Manager and CoralTree Marketing leaders.
  • Support operational readiness during the pre-opening phase including photography needs, brand rollout, signage, and event preparation.
