Requirements
  • Bilingualism is required for resources assigned to the North.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory for all assignments.
  • Availability must match the fixed, non-modifiable assignment period.
  • At least one year of home-care experience is required for home-care assignments and must be documented in the résumé.
  • Experience in adult mental health, mental-status evaluation, and suicide-risk assessment is required for adult mental-health assignments and must be documented in the résumé.
  • Comfort with medico-legal work is required for adult mental-health assignments.
Responsibilities
  • Provide home-care services, including care to older adults and palliative-care clients, for the specified assignment.
  • Provide adult mental-health services, including psychosocial intake, mental-health assessment, suicide-risk assessment, and general social services, for the specified assignment.
Desired Qualifications
  • Omega training is an asset.
  • Proficiency with SIC+, Cortex, Teams, and Excel is an asset or may be required depending on the assignment.
  • Experience with northern or Nunavik settings is an asset.
  • Experience with psychotic disorders is an asset.
  • Experience at Pinel or Douglas is an asset.
