About the job
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or higher is required.
- Strong spoken and written English is required.
- At least five years of manufacturing management experience and planning management experience are required.
- Knowledge of automation is required.
- Ability to lead and collaborate with a team and guide change is required.
- Collaborate across departments to continuously drive systematic improvement projects in AC production management.
- Promote integrated production-plan management across AC value streams.
- Integrate and optimize production planning for drill bits and saw blades, from carbide tips through packaging.
- Develop monthly, weekly, and daily plans based on forecast orders and actual completion.
- Develop staffing requirements plans based on forecast orders.
- Work closely with functional process engineers to develop and track continuous efficiency-improvement projects.
- Strengthen shop-floor management practices, including 5S, standardization, quality control, and team building.
- Develop and update shop-floor performance-improvement processes and apply the related methodology.
- Conduct regular safety activities.
- Apply systematic prevention and inspection measures according to HSE guidance to achieve zero accidents.
- Implement and apply the lean production system (BPS), continuously improve BPS maturity in the workshop, and apply the continuous-improvement system at key frontline-management points.
- A background in mechanical engineering, lean production, or Six Sigma is preferred.
