About the Company

Kinder Morgan

Energy transportation via pipelines and terminals

Kinder Morgan runs a large energy infrastructure network of about 79,000 miles of pipelines and 139 terminals to transport and store natural gas, refined petroleum products, crude oil, condensate, chemicals, and CO2. Its four segments—Natural Gas Pipelines, Products Pipelines, Terminals, and CO2—provide fee-based transportation and storage services across an integrated system. Its scale and multi-product network, along with a long-term fee-based revenue model, set it apart from competitors, and it is expanding into the energy transition with investments in renewable natural gas (RNG) and carbon capture, utilization, and sequestration (CCUS). The goal is to reliably move and store energy for customers while growing RNG and CCUS capabilities to support lower-emission energy solutions and future growth.
