Vivek Mohan Sharma exits JioStar as Business head-youth, Music & English. After concluding his five-year journey with JioStar/Viacom18, Vivek Mohan Sharma is set to begin his next chapter in September after a short break. Vivek Mohan has announced his departure from JioStar after a five-year stint, during which he held two roles across Branded Content and Youth Music & English (YME) Entertainment. In his LinkedIn post, he wrote, "The biggest takeaway from my five years was the people I worked with, including the leaders who trusted and challenged me, the teams who brought passion, resilience and plenty of fun to the table, and the many colleagues and friends who made even the most chaotic days memorable." Earlier, Sharma worked at Mirchi as Senior Vice President & Regional Director (West & Central India), from January 2016 to September 2020. Later, he was elevated to Head-Digital Content Business, from September 2020 to May 2021. Before that, he was associated with Idea Cellular as National Head-Infotainment Content Services (VAS) from April 2011 to December 2015. Prior to that, Sharma worked with Deutsche Bank as Regional Head (West)-Credit Cards from June 2006 to April 2011. Earlier in his career, he was associated with ICICI Bank as Product Manager from June 2004 to June 2006.
