About the job
- A university degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Cost Engineering, Sales Engineering, Business Development, Project Management, or a related field.
- Strong technical understanding combined with commercial thinking.
- Ability to analyze complex operational environments and identify relevant economic value drivers.
- Ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into commercial solutions.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
- Fluent English.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the aviation and aerospace industry.
- Identify customer needs and translate them into technical and commercial solutions.
- Analyze customer operations, workflows, and mission profiles to identify economic value drivers and improvement potential.
- Develop quantitative customer value models for CycloTech's propulsion technologies and convert technical performance advantages into measurable economic benefits.
- Develop customer-specific business cases, return on investment models, and total cost of ownership assessments.
- Develop cost models, business cases, and lifecycle economic assessments for aviation, aerospace, and unmanned aircraft applications.
- Work closely with Engineering, Project Management, and Senior Management.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, trade fairs, conferences, and industry events.
- Monitor market developments, competitors, and emerging technologies.
- Support management in strategic business development and growth initiatives.
- Experience developing business cases, economic models, cost-benefit analyses, or investment evaluations.
- Experience in the aviation and/or aerospace industry.
- German language skills.
