OT on a Exempt Contract Contingent Basis located Fort Liberty - North Carolina 28307 Across The Mid Atlantic Region supporting a key U.S. Army installation that supports the Army’s mission of global readiness and operational excellence. As one of the largest and most dynamic military bases, Fort Liberty serves as a home to the XVIII Airborne Corps, the 82nd Airborne Division, and several other vital military units. The base plays a critical role in preparing soldiers for rapid deployment and combat operations, ensuring that U.S. Army personnel are equipped, trained, and ready to support national defense objectives and global security commitments.

Seeking French Language Specialist candidates with relevant Education, And Academia Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Education, And Academia Sector Clients such as ARMY.  This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Language and Culture Services Support  (French Language Specialist) in the Education, And Academia Industry Sector focussing on Human Capital Solutions for clients such as Department of Army (Army) | Mission & Installation Contacting Command -Fort Liberty Generally Located In Fort Liberty - North Carolina 28310 and across the Mid Atlantic Region.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - French Language Specialist | Language and Cultural Education [ARMY029034]

• Teach French language and cultural awareness to service members.
•  Customize POIs and lesson plans based on military specific language needs.
•  Monitor language proficiency progress with periodic assessments.
•  Encourage cultural immersion and awareness through engaging, relevant content.

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications For French Language Specialist | Language and Cultural Education [ARMY029034] (ARMY029034) Candidates:

• Native or nearnative fluency in French.
•  Experience with adult education and SLA methodologies

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Education, or related field.
•  2+ years of relevant language instruction experience, especially with military personnel.

Skills Required

• Fluency in French with strong grammar and writing skills.
•  Proficiency in military French terminology.
•  Skilled in using instructional technology to enhance language learning

Competencies Required

• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)
•  Problem-solving and critical thinking in an educational setting.
•  Strong interpersonal skills to engage learners.
•  Leadership and adaptability in a diverse classroom environment
• Ancillary Details Of The Roles
• Must be comfortable teaching in an immersive and technologically supported environment.
• Travel may be required for onsite instruction at military bases
• In compliance with national standards, the role requires constant professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest methodologies and best practices in language instruction.
• The ability to work within a variety of teaching environments, including in-person, online, and hybrid settings.

Other Details

Work in a military training environment with a focus on immersion. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria.
