The Global Head of FP&A will play a pivotal role in shaping our future by providing critical financial insights, optimizing resource allocation, and supporting strategic decision-making. Things You’ll Do
- Lead global financial planning processes, including annual operating plan, monthly forecasting, and long-term strategic plan
- Collaborate across senior leadership team, including the CEO, to build the plan, drive alignment to the plan and execute against the plan
- Present the financial plan as well as quarterly updates to the Executive Team and Board of Directors
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators for the business and provide financial analysis regarding key business trends and market environment
- Works closely with the CPO, CSO on Technology Sales, Services, Partners and business operations
- Leads the development of the medium and long-term revenue and P&L forecast, with a particular focus on emerging growth sectors
- Review, implement and maintain our hiring and OPEX model working in close partnership with People team and key department leaders to prioritize appropriately to maximize growth
- Implement and maintain insightful and relevant financial reporting package and dashboards for stakeholders
- Design and maintain financial technology tools to support global F&S (FP&A) processes, including Planning and other dashboard technologies. Consider other innovative approaches to F&S, including AI and RPA
- Create weekly and monthly reporting to clearly identify variances to forecast and budget, provided in a clear and action-oriented format to drive decisions in close partnership with global accounting team
- Work closely with Treasury and Tax regarding capital structure, tax strategy and cash flow forecasting
- Support M&A function, including deal evaluation, modeling, due diligence, and integration, working closely with business development and other stakeholders
- Closely partner with CFO on Investor and Lender Relations to position the client to stakeholders and prospective stakeholders. Build narrative and rationale of financial trends, develop quarterly and annual guidance, and advise on all financial matters needed for investors and lenders
- Seek out external trends and factors and incorporate into forecasting process, both directly and indirectly
- Lead a team of 30+ financial professionals and people leaders
What We’re Looking For on Your Resume
- Bachelor’s (required) or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant fields (preferred)
- 15+ years of financial leadership experience, and a minimum of 5 years global F&S / FP&A responsibilities and public company experience required
- Investment Banking or Corporate M&A experience
- Experience working in technology industry; and digital media a plus
- Proven track record of financial partnership with key executives to drive business growth
- Analytical, data driven decision maker with strong financial acumen and drive for results
- Excellent communicator and presenter with an ability to influence all levels
- Demonstrated ability of building and leading a diverse, high-performing team
- Ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
- Highly collaborative team player
- Experience with small and large group presentations
- Strong financial modeling, Adaptive, Excel and PowerPoint and presentation skills
