View

The Cheesecake Factory operates casual-dining restaurants with a wide menu of entrees and a signature lineup of cheesecakes and other desserts. Guests order meals served in large portions, with desserts playing a central role in the dining experience, a concept rooted in the company’s bakery origins. It differentiates itself with a very large, eclectic menu and a dessert-forward identity that grew from a small bakery to a nationwide chain (CAKE). Its goal is to build a large, nationwide brand by offering generous portions and a broad menu centered around desserts and diverse main courses.

Cheesecake Factory coming to Surprise's Village at Prasada.

Cheesecake Factory coming to Surprise's Village at Prasada. The restaurant is expected to open in late 2027. Posted 11:22 PM, Sep 15, 2026 and last updated 11:23 PM, Sep 15, 2026 SURPRISE, AZ - Residents of Surprise will soon have another dining option at one of the West Valley's busiest shopping destinations. The Cheesecake Factory plans to open a new restaurant at the Village at Prasada development near Loop 303 and Waddell Road, according to an announcement from developer SimonCRE. The restaurant is expected to open in late 2027. The new location will join the existing restaurant row at Village at Prasada, which already includes Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant, Barrio Queen, Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers and O.H.S.O. Brewery. The project will also include a family-oriented splash pad, updated restaurant row signage and additional retail and restaurant space at the southeast corner of Prasada Parkway and Alexandria Way. The Cheesecake Factory will occupy approximately 7,500 square feet, while another 21,100 square feet of shop and restaurant space is planned as part of the expansion. Village at Prasada has become one of the major retail centers in the West Valley since opening in 2023. The development includes retailers such as Target, Nordstrom Rack, Dick's Sporting Goods, Hobby Lobby, Sprouts Farmers Market, T.J. Maxx, HomeGoods, Marshalls, Burlington, Sephora and Kohl's. In a statement, David Overton, founder and CEO of The Cheesecake Factory, said the company was aware of local demand for a Surprise location. "We were delighted to learn that the residents of Surprise have been asking to have us open there," Overton said. The announcement also comes after years of requests from residents, according to the City of Surprise. "This is such a sweet win for Surprise," said Jeanine Jerkovic, the city's economic development director. "For years, our residents have told us that The Cheesecake Factory is the restaurant they want the most." According to the developer, The Cheesecake Factory has been the most-requested restaurant in city surveys over the past five years and is expected to create dozens of jobs once it opens. For Surprise residents, the addition means another nationally recognized restaurant choice without having to leave the city, as Village at Prasada continues to expand along the rapidly growing Loop 303 corridor. Consumer stocks soar past Nvidia's 12% gain: Cracker Barrel up 130%, Cheesecake Factory doubles

Cracker Barrel, Cheesecake Factory, Victoria's Secret, CarMax, and Airbnb have all outperformed Nvidia this year, posting gains between 38% and 130% compared to the chip giant's 12% rise. Cracker Barrel has surged 130%, fuelled by improved sales trends, cost improvements, and strategic changes under new CEO David Deno. Cheesecake Factory stock has more than doubled, driven by strong performance from its Fox Restaurant Concepts brands, particularly Flower Child, which posted 21% sales growth in Q2. CarMax has gained over 65%, supported by stronger sales and cost cuts. The consumer stocks' gains eclipse Nvidia's more modest 2026 performance despite the chipmaker projecting 70% revenue growth for fiscal 2028.

Cheesecake Factory momentum status hints at deeper shift in earnings power

The Cheesecake Factory has been flagged as a momentum stock by Zacks, driven by positive earnings estimate revisions and favourable analyst sentiment. This reflects growing confidence in the company's operational improvements and demand trends across its restaurant concepts. The momentum is partly tied to the launch of a refreshed Cheesecake Rewards app with a free slice offer. Analysts expect this loyalty programme and digital engagement to boost visit frequency and check size, supporting higher unit economics. However, risks remain. The company faces pressure from shifting dining habits, mall exposure, and rising labour costs. Off-premise and digital-first competitors could limit traffic growth. Projections vary widely. The company's narrative forecasts £4.8 billion revenue and £334.2 million earnings by 2029, requiring 7.4% annual revenue growth. Lower-ranked analysts project only 5.8% annual growth to roughly £4.5 billion revenue and £263 million earnings by 2029.

Cheesecake Factory hits $1B quarterly revenue with value-focused strategy as stock surges 123%

The Cheesecake Factory has posted record quarterly revenue exceeding $1 billion for the first time, whilst comparable sales and traffic grow during a period when many restaurant chains struggle with stagnant growth. The chain's success stems from focusing on value and convenience. It offers an expansive menu with budget-friendly options and generous portions, giving customers reason to return as they move away from pricier dining. The company recently launched a rewards programme showing high engagement amongst members. Its restaurants are located in high-traffic areas, with mall locations gaining popularity with Gen Z consumers. Management targets younger crowds through social media and digital efforts. The Cheesecake Factory's stock has risen 123% year to date, doubling since mid-May alone. The company demonstrates that consumers prioritise value and rewards for their patronage.
