Requirements
  • Ability to use hand tools and follow blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Ability to examine building layouts, anticipate installation and repair difficulties, gather materials, and coordinate on-site work as needed.
  • Ability to inspect vehicle condition and cleanliness, maintain vehicle service records, and schedule or complete vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Ability to inspect equipment for wear and notify the customer or Operations Manager of findings.
  • Ability to determine parts needed for repairs and the required order timing.
  • Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
  • Ability to stay current on products and their installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
  • Ability to travel regularly, including occasional overnight travel, as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Service products and equipment on assigned projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
  • Prepare for on-site installations and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
  • Document each job, including daily time, progress, and duration, and maintain files.
  • Represent the company as a direct customer contact.
  • Record parts, materials, labor, subcontractor, and other cost data for each assignment, and return unused resources.
  • Submit required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
  • Provide technical support to customers.
