About the job
- High-level fluency in Spanish and English, with minimum fluency test scores of ILR 3 or above in both languages.
- Knowledge of medical and social services terminology.
- Medical interpreting experience.
- Completion of 40 or more hours of formal interpreter training.
- Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and ethics codes.
- Provide onsite medical interpreting for Spanish-speaking clients.
- Communicate effectively during medical and social services interactions.
- Complete interpreting assignments as an independent contractor.
