  • 3-5 years general relational database and reporting development experience
  • 3+ years experience with BI/data warehousing analysis and development including database design, ETL and reporting
  • 3+ years experience using Microsoft SQL Server stored procedures and SSIS/DTS packages and using reporting tools such as Crystal Reports and/or Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services
  • 2+ years experience using Business Intelligence tools (MicroStrategy preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Experience using modeling techniques as a tool for application design and development
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL Server development including database design and stored procedures
  • Advanced knowledge of SSIS/DTS package design and development
  • Advanced knowledge of Crystal Reports and/or Microsoft Reporting Services including report design and development
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft OLAP tools and analysis constructs
  • Thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycle Methodology
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Access and Project
Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate advanced techniques for reviewing and trouble-shooting complex code designs written by multiple developers, reverse engineering, identifying incompatibilities and providing alternatives for improved design and performance
  • Knowledge of server software operation, maintenance and extension (using various programming tools) and demonstrated ability to apply this knowledge to multiple server platforms
  • Ability to take direction, accept criticism constructively and to be diplomatic when reviewing work of others
  • Ability to solve problems and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-drive environment
  • Build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team
  • Listen to customers (e.g. staff, etc.) to understand and respond positively to their requests
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of staff and outside vendors
  • Have exceptional initiative and follow-through on projects with minimal supervision and guidance
  • Ability to initiate and maintain cooperative relationships with co-workers, managers and supervisors, customers/clients, and members of the public

Long Cast Advisers highlighted Cross Country Healthcare (NASDAQ:CCRN) in its fourth-quarter 2025 investor letter as one of its largest purchases. The American healthcare talent management company, specialising in nurse, allied and physician staffing, has a market capitalisation of $318.34 million. Trading at $9.78 per share on 11 March 2026, Cross Country Healthcare holds $99 million in net cash with no debt. The company recently received a $20 million termination payment following a failed $615 million acquisition by AYA, bringing cash to over 40% of its market capitalisation. In Q4 2025, the company generated $237 million in revenue, down 5% sequentially and 24% year-over-year. Hedge fund ownership decreased from 33 to 28 portfolios quarter-over-quarter.

Cross Country Healthcare reports $82.9M Q4 loss, revenue misses forecasts at $236.8M

Cross Country Healthcare reported a fourth-quarter loss of $82.9 million, or $2.56 per share. Adjusted losses came to 6 cents per share, missing analysts' expectations of 3 cents earnings per share. The Boca Raton, Florida-based healthcare staffing provider posted revenue of $236.8 million, falling short of the $252.3 million forecast by analysts. For the full year, the company reported a loss of $94.9 million on revenue of $1.05 billion. For the current quarter ending in March, Cross Country expects losses between 4 and 6 cents per share, with revenue ranging from $235 million to $240 million.
