Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Currently pursuing a degree.
  • Flexibility to work in both office and field environments as needed.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report review.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, medical evaluation, and drug screen due to the safety-sensitive nature of the position.
  • Ability to successfully complete and maintain required safety certification and testing annually.
  • Ability to perform light work, occasionally exerting up to 20 pounds of force.
  • Ability to walk on uneven surfaces and occasionally ascend or descend step ladders and stairs.
  • Ability to regularly sit and stand for extended periods, kneel, bend, and squat.
  • Ability to pass color and vision examinations and distinguish required auditory signals.
  • Ability to work in loud-noise environments and around heavy or moving machinery.
  • Ability to work outdoors in hot, cold, rain, snow, and sleet.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze contract documents, technical specifications, and design drawings to understand quality requirements.
  • Assist in managing and organizing quality-related documentation, including inspection reports, test results, submittals, and certifications.
  • Conduct daily field inspections of work in progress, including earthwork, excavation, concrete pours, structural steel erection, paving, and pile driving, to verify compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Schedule and witness independent third-party materials testing, including soil compaction, concrete slump and strength, asphalt density, and weld inspections.
  • Assist in ensuring that incorporated materials are approved and meet specified standards, including material tags and certifications.
  • Work directly with superintendents, foremen, and crews to clarify quality standards and address issues in real time.
  • Assist with documenting and reporting quality status, non-conformances, and trends to the Project Manager and Quality Manager.
  • Regularly engage in, participate in, and promote the company’s culture and essential behaviors.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.
  • Report safety violations to the immediate supervisor.
