Mutual property and casualty insurer

NJM Insurance Group provides property and casualty insurance mainly in the Mid-Atlantic, focusing on auto and home coverages and other P&C protection. It operates as a mutual insurer owned by its policyholders, using premium dollars to fund coverage, claims, and service rather than paying dividends to outside owners. NJM differentiates itself by its mutual ownership model and a commitment to value-based solutions and service, plus regional recognition for auto claims experience and employer awards (e.g., leading Mid-Atlantic auto insurer in J.D. Power 2025 AIS; Forbes Best In-state Employer 2019–2025). Its stated goal is to provide value-based insurance solutions with the highest levels of service, integrity, and financial stewardship for policyholders in the Mid-Atlantic.
