About the job
- Experience with control system integration, ideally in water/wastewater, involving pump and valve operations and process variables such as pressure, flow, level, and temperature.
- Experience with control panel design, instrumentation, programmable logic controller programming, human-machine interface and supervisory control and data acquisition graphical design, communications networks, component selection, and commissioning.
- Experience with equipment design for control panels, motor control, and field instrumentation, including schematics, layouts, risers, and bills of materials.
- Experience programming programmable logic controllers with Rockwell and PlantPAx.
- Experience programming human-machine interfaces using FactoryTalk View, Wonderware, iFIX, or VTScada.
- Experience with field commissioning, including instrument calibration and configuration, hardware checkout, software debugging, and operator-related commissioning.
- Ability to analyze general construction documents, including work divisions, specifications, mechanical and electrical diagrams, control narratives, and written sequences of operations.
- An Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent work experience.
- Electrical instrumentation and controls design experience with hardware and software, including programmable logic controllers and human-machine interfaces.
- Ability to travel up to 25%, depending on job locations and business demand.
- Must complete drug testing and background checks as a condition of employment.
- Integrate control systems for process monitoring and control applications.
- Design control panels and instrumentation and develop programmable logic controller, human-machine interface, and supervisory control and data acquisition systems.
- Commission field systems and equipment.
