  • Deep technical understanding of the Salesforce platform, including metadata-driven architecture, deployment pipelines, sandboxes, packaging, security models, Apex, Lightning, and the independent software vendor partner ecosystem.
  • A proven track record of shipping products adopted and paid for by enterprise customers, including Fortune 500 companies and regulated industries.
  • Experience with DevOps, continuous integration and continuous delivery, release management, or security and compliance tooling is strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of the competitive landscape, including Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, Salto, and native Salesforce DX.
  • A strong perspective on how artificial intelligence and machine learning, especially Salesforce Agentforce, Einstein, and Data Cloud, will reshape Salesforce development and governance.
  • Ability to write product requirements documents, engage customers, review wireframes, and participate in sprint reviews.
  • Ability to present product vision to C-suite audiences and write technical specifications for engineering teams.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a bias toward action.
  • Experience building products in the Salesforce AppExchange ecosystem, ideally as an independent software vendor or within a Salesforce-native product company.
  • Experience at the intersection of DevOps and security or compliance in regulated industries.
  • Experience leading product-led growth initiatives within an enterprise product, including self-serve onboarding, in-product conversion, and expansion mechanics.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the multi-year product roadmap across DevOps, Backup and Archive, Trust Center, Data Seeding, and DevOps for Veeva.

  • Monitor Salesforce product direction and position Flosum to capitalize on platform changes.
  • Lead development of AI-powered DevOps capabilities on Agentforce, including intelligent deployment agents, AI-driven code review, automated security scanning, and predictive release management.
  • Define how the extensibility platform enables customers to build custom AI-driven workflows within Salesforce's trust boundary.
  • Develop governance frameworks for autonomous systems and AI agents in the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Engage Fortune 500 customers and prospects to understand their Salesforce development, security, compliance, and data-management needs.
  • Translate enterprise requirements, including SOX, zero-trust, multi-org, and regulated-industry needs, into product solutions.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to influence deal strategy, conduct product demonstrations for strategic accounts, and close competitive evaluations.
  • Write detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with engineering to deliver on timelines; own sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and release coordination.
  • Define and track product key performance indicators, including adoption, activation, expansion, net promoter score, and competitive win rates.
  • During the first 90 days, learn the five product lines and their technical architecture, conduct more than 25 customer and prospect interviews, complete a competitive audit with actionable investment recommendations, and deliver a product roadmap refresh with prioritization rationale.
  • During months 3–6, deliver at least one major product release addressing a competitive gap or customer-requested capability, establish a product-led feedback loop among Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering, and define and present an execution plan for the next generation of AI capabilities.
  • During months 6–12, improve competitive win rates against Copado and Gearset, launch at least one new product capability that opens a revenue stream or market segment, and establish Flosum as a thought leader in AI-driven Salesforce DevOps through content, speaking, and ecosystem engagement.
