Responsibilities
  • Generate new loan and deposit business according to assigned sales goals by initiating and developing relationships with businesses, industries, developers, and consumers.
  • Maintain acceptable credit quality and appropriate loan pricing.
  • Manage an individual portfolio and expand client relationships, including through partner referrals.
  • Prospect businesses with annual sales of $500 million to more than $25 million for new loan and deposit opportunities.
  • Achieve assigned personal sales goals through proactive activities and behaviors that lead to results.
  • Align client and bank objectives and orchestrate organizational resources and referral partners to build collaborative, client-focused relationships.
  • Use a consultative selling approach to understand client needs and opportunities, including pre-call planning, establishing rapport, interviewing for needs and opportunities, explaining features and benefits, overcoming objections, and closing sales.
  • Leverage centers of influence to build a network and create a pipeline of business.
  • Take an active role in the agriculture community through volunteering and attending events.
  • Evaluate loan requests for proper purpose, structure, and pricing to ensure they meet the requisite level under current loan standards.
  • Partner with support staff to ensure the loan origination process meets bank and client expectations.
  • Seek guidance and insight from other lenders and executives to deliver the best possible loan terms for the bank and client.
  • Manage a portfolio of customers satisfactorily, maintain relationships professionally, and monitor the portfolio according to current loan standards.
  • Stay current on agricultural trends involving agronomy, commodities, real estate, and farm financial health to assess risks and understand client needs.
  • Strengthen existing client relationships and foster new relationships to meet or exceed the average portfolio target.
  • Manage delinquencies and the portfolio to ensure classified credits are recognized timely and referred promptly to Special Assets.
  • Continuously seek and apply knowledge leading to a best-in-class client experience.
  • Serve internal and external clients with excellence.
  • Understand data, metrics, and financial information and how they relate to client satisfaction and business outcomes.

Desired Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred, or an H.S. Diploma/GED with equivalent work experience in finance or an agriculture-related discipline.
  • Prior experience in commercial lending, agricultural lending, business development, commercial credit, portfolio management, or similar market experience is desirable for level placement.
  • Prior experience formally or informally coaching and mentoring peers while utilizing leadership skills is desirable.
  • The ability to adapt when sales practices and broader market or industry conditions change is desirable.

Hallador Energy Closes $120 Million Senior Secured Credit Facilities

TERRE HAUTE, Ind., March 10, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Hallador Energy Company (Nasdaq: HNRG) (“Hallador” or the “Company”) today announced that on March 5, 2026, the Company closed a $120 million Senior Secured Credit Agreement (the “Credit Agreement”) maturing on March 5, 2029, consisting of a $75 million revolving credit facility and a $45 million delayed draw term loan facility (collectively, the “Facilities”). The Company expects to use borrowings under the Facilities to refinance its prior credit facility and provide working capital. Old National Bancorp posts record Q4 earnings with 27% EPS growth and 20% return on equity

Old National Bancorp reported record fourth-quarter earnings with adjusted earnings per share of $0.62, up 5% quarter-over-quarter and 27% year-over-year.
