Responsibilities
  • Exhibits a thorough understanding of the art and science of language

  • Is versatile in voice, and can easily transition from long and short-form copy
  • Develops brand language/vocabulary
  • Understands the specific business case and agreed-upon strategy for every project, with an appreciation for the client’s business and industry
  • Is adept at discerning context, and can employ a particular style of writing that is appropriate for a given scenario (e.g. an Instagram post vs. an ad headline vs. a white paper summary)
  • Maintains an active awareness of trends, technological advances, and cultural nuances as it relates to style, language, and vernacular
  • Looks for opportunities to disrupt the communication landscape in service of great ideas
  • Has the ability to think beyond static executions to address motion, interaction, and experience
  • Works productively and harmoniously as a teammate with those who share responsibility on day-to-day assignments
  • Has a strong ability to prioritize work and manage his/her own time based on short and long-term needs
  • Owns the material application of copy across multiple executions (versioning)
  • Under the direction of the Design Director/Associate Design Director, sees work through completion -- including quality assurance and proofing before final production
