Requirements
- Requires 8–10 years of experience in commercial lines account management, preferably within an independent insurance agency.
- Requires proficiency in Applied Epic.
- Requires strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and industry regulations.
- Requires a Property & Casualty insurance license.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial lines clients, develop strong relationships, and ensure their insurance needs are met.
- Handle the full policy lifecycle, including renewals, endorsements, audits, and cancellations.
- Evaluate clients’ risk exposures and provide tailored coverage recommendations.
- Collaborate with carriers to secure competitive coverage solutions, negotiate terms, and present proposals.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products to meet clients’ evolving needs.
- Act as a liaison between clients and carriers, resolving claims, billing, and coverage issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records, adhere to company and regulatory guidelines, and document all client interactions in Applied Epic.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in commercial lines account management within an independent insurance agency is preferred.
- Industry certifications such as CIC, CPCU, or CRM are a plus.
