About the job
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Front Office or guest-facing role in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of Dubai and its tourist attractions.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Basic computer skills.
- Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.
- Provide personalized check-in and check-out experiences.
- Assist guests with inquiries, directions, and hotel information.
- Offer welcome beverages or amenities upon arrival based on guest status or preferences.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Concierge, and Guest Relations to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Maintain a visible presence in the lobby and be available to assist or guide guests.
- Promote hotel services, facilities, and ongoing promotions.
- Handle guest feedback, resolve issues, or escalate them appropriately.
- Record guest preferences and special requests and communicate them effectively.
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance in line with brand standards.
- Anticipate guest needs and offer recommendations to enhance their stay.
- Additional languages are an advantage.
- Familiarity with Opera or similar hotel management software is preferred.
