About the job

Requirements
  • A professional qualification in tax or accountancy, such as CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent, is required; 3+ years of post-qualification experience in a Big Four or leading mid-tier accountancy/professional services firm, or a major in-house tax team, is ideal.
  • Deep understanding of tax processes and workflows across one or more tax disciplines, including identifying where technology and AI-enabled workflows can improve tax work.
  • Demonstrable experience working directly with customers or senior stakeholders to drive engagement, adoption, or change, and confidence influencing stakeholders up to Partner, Head of Tax, or firm-owner level.
  • Strong consulting, facilitation, and presentation skills, including proactively leading customer conversations, uncovering high-value use cases, and translating business problems into practical workflow solutions.
  • Ability to work against defined adoption and usage targets, use customer and product data to identify opportunities, and progress customers from initial engagement through sustained workflow usage and expansion.
  • Strong aptitude for tax technology, AI, and workflow transformation; practical experience using generative AI or AI-enabled tools; and ability to become highly proficient in configuring, testing, and deploying AI-enabled workflows and skills on the platform.
  • Relationship-building and change-management skills to mobilise stakeholder groups within a customer organisation and embed new ways of working into day-to-day tax practice.
  • Ability to identify reusable workflow patterns, share best practices, and translate customer feedback and adoption barriers into actionable insights for Product and Development teams.
Responsibilities
  • Drive awareness, adoption, and expansion of custom workflows across customer organisations, building the engagement and senior sponsorship needed for sustained usage across teams and tax disciplines.
  • Own adoption of customer workflows that the role helps identify, design, and deploy, against defined targets including customer engagement, workflow activation, deployment volume, and ongoing usage.
  • Lead workflow discovery and design sessions with customers by analysing existing tax processes, identifying pain points and decision points, and determining where AI, automation, and human judgement can improve delivery.
  • Work with Customer Success and Account Management to identify priority accounts and build structured workflow adoption and expansion plans.
  • Use workflow activation, deployment, and usage data to identify adoption barriers, expansion opportunities, and customer interventions.
  • Design, configure, test, and deploy practical, accurate, and usable AI-enabled workflows and skills for day-to-day tax work.
  • Lead customer and executive conversations that demonstrate value, build momentum, and support broader adoption.
  • Represent the customer by translating feedback, requirements, and adoption barriers into actionable insights for Product and Development teams.
  • Capture and share best practices, workflow patterns, and reusable solutions across customers and internal teams.
  • Engage priority customers, enable Tolley+ Protégé and workflow capabilities within customer accounts, identify and deploy high-value workflows, and increase active usage across relevant teams and tax disciplines.
  • Turn ambiguous or manual tax processes into practical AI-enabled workflows and support their adoption and measurable value in customer environments.
  • Track performance through customer engagement, accounts enabled for Tolley+ Protégé and workflows, workflow usage and sustained adoption, expansion across teams/users/tax disciplines, and evidence of measurable customer value and outcomes.
  • Turn field learnings into reusable workflow patterns, product improvements, and actionable insights for Product and Development teams.

RELX reports 7% underlying revenue growth as AI demand backs full-year outlook

RELX reported 7% underlying revenue growth for the first nine months of 2026, with its Legal, Risk, and STM divisions all contributing. Management reiterated its expectation of strong full year growth in revenue, adjusted operating profit, and constant currency adjusted earnings per share (EPS). AI-powered analytics tools, such as Lexis+ Protégé and LeapSpace, are becoming central to RELX's subscription model. The main risk is that competing or open source AI options could pressure its ability to charge a premium while it keeps investing heavily in new products. Analysts forecast revenue of £12.0bn and earnings of £2.9bn by 2029, implying 7.3% yearly revenue growth. Earnings are currently £2.3bn.

LexisNexis CEO dismisses AI threat as company reports 7% revenue growth

LexisNexis CEO Sean Fitzpatrick has dismissed investor concerns that AI threatens the legal software giant, saying proprietary data gives it a competitive advantage. Shares of parent company Relx fell 14% on 3 February following Anthropic's launch of an AI agent that drafts legal briefs, and are down 17% year-to-date. Fitzpatrick said LexisNexis's database of 200 billion legal documents, including content from Shepard's Citations dating to 1873, cannot be replicated by AI model makers. The company doesn't license its proprietary data to general-purpose AI providers. Relx reported 7% revenue growth for 2025 and 9% increase in adjusted operating profit, driven by customers adopting AI tools. LexisNexis is hiring and hasn't conducted AI-related redundancies.
