Responsibilities
  • Supervise and monitor the invoice process from image capture through payment.
  • Support Accounts Payable data entry and supplier support teams by resolving issues and providing guidance on process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Support RMS Accessory and intercompany processing to Oracle E1.
  • Complete month-end batch posting, close the month, open the new month, and provide month-end reporting to various departments.
  • Supervise 1099 and 1042-S reporting and year-end procedures, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws.
  • Serve as the Accounts Payable point of contact for system-related topics.
  • Coach, counsel, and train new employees in accounts payable processes, and manage the performance of direct reports.
  • Manage Accounts Payable projects related to robotic process automation indexing and other assigned projects.
  • Process and post Concur reports, answer user inquiries, order new credit cards, provide reporting to business users, and research and implement Concur or expense-processing enhancements.
  • Provide the Accounts Payable Manager with metrics and project status information.
  • Provide standard and ad hoc reports to Accounting and Procurement teams monthly.
  • Support the Accounts Payable Manager by providing requested items to internal and external auditors.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable systems and processing activities, including Concur, ApplicationXtender Data Imaging, RMS, and Oracle E1, supporting more than 12,000 invoices monthly.

La-Z-Boy Incorporated announced on Aug. 31 plans to invest $23 million and create up to 100 new jobs through a manufacturing expansion and the construction of a new distribution center in Neosho. The company said the 150,000-square-foot facility will serve as a centralized distribution hub within its U.S. supply chain network.
