Requirements
  • You have owned positioning, launches, and sales enablement in a real business-to-business product marketing role, rather than only demand generation or content production.
  • You have marketed to real-world, non-Silicon-Valley audiences such as operations teams, fleet managers, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, or similar buyers, or can credibly demonstrate the ability to adapt to those audiences.
  • You can take technical and dense material and make it crisp, plain-spoken, and compelling.
  • You have strong product instincts and pay close attention to the details of what is shipped.
  • You are known by your peers for taking ownership, moving quickly, and making progress despite the circumstances.
  • You are comfortable working with ambiguity and being the first product marketing manager without an existing playbook.
Responsibilities
  • Own positioning and messaging for the company and product for the industry, buyers, and users on the floor.
  • Drive product launches end-to-end, including naming, messaging, content, customer communications, and internal enablement.
  • Partner with the Senior Vice President of Sales and Chief Executive Officer to equip the sales team with pitch decks, demos, one-pagers, and competitive intelligence needed to close enterprise deals.
  • Turn customers into advocates through case studies, testimonials, references, and conference appearances.
  • Build the content engine across the blog, newsletter, social media, conference materials, and other channels needed to establish a consistent and credible voice in freight artificial intelligence.
  • Partner with product and engineering to translate technical capabilities into customer value and bring market insight back to inform product development.
  • Set the systems and operating rhythms that allow marketing to run reliably as the company scales.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in freight, logistics, supply chain, or another physical-world industry.
  • Experience marketing artificial intelligence or agentic products.
  • Experience building or scaling a marketing function from zero.
  • Customer-facing experience, including comfort on calls with brokers, truckers, and executives.

Vooma creates educational games for primary school students, focusing on mathematics. Its flagship product, Guardians: Defenders of Mathematica, is a math game on the BBC Bitesize platform designed to help Key Stage 2 students practice and revise for SATs. The game teaches topics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and algebra by turning math practice into a battle to save the kingdom of Mathematica, making learning interactive and enjoyable. Compared with other educational games, Vooma collaborates with established platforms like the BBC to distribute its content, expanding reach without building its own standalone app ecosystem. The company's goal is to provide engaging, curriculum-aligned math practice for primary students while leveraging partnerships to reach a broad audience through trusted educational platforms.
