- 1–2 years of professional software development experience.
- Native English speaking fluency is required.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- A solid understanding of Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development is required.
- Active use of AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or ChatGPT in daily work, with willingness to learn best practices for reviewing and validating AI-generated code.
- Eagerness to learn when to rely on AI tools versus seeking guidance from senior engineers on complex architectural or security-sensitive decisions.
- Experience with Angular or other modern JavaScript frameworks is required.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills are required.
- Passion for continuous learning and software craftsmanship is required.
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs.
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure for deployment and integration.
- Collaborate with team members using Agile methodologies and tools such as Git, JIRA, and CI/CD.
- Participate in code reviews and unit and integration testing.
- Troubleshoot and debug application issues.
- Learn and adapt to evolving technologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure is preferred.
- Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes is desirable.
- Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD pipelines is desirable.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams is desirable.
