Requirements
  • At least two years of experience as a nurse.
  • Significant, recent experience in home care.
  • Must be a member in good standing of the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ).
  • Must be available for on-call duties for vulnerable clients and palliative care, approximately one week per month.
Responsibilities
  • Assess clients' health in their living environments, determine nursing care plans, and ensure those plans are carried out.
  • Provide medical care and treatments to maintain or restore health and prevent illness.
  • Plan, provide, and evaluate education for clients and their families.
  • Provide frontline services and follow up on files at the designated service locations.
