Requirements
  • You've spent 3+ years as a data engineer building core datasets and supporting business verticals as needed, ideally in product and business areas with high data volumes.
  • You have experience working with both Marketing and Sales datasets at a SaaS company, and have built integrations with business systems like Salesforce, Netsuite, Marketo, Zendesk, etc.

  • You have hands-on experience shipping scalable data solutions in the cloud (i.e AWS, GCP, Azure), across multiple data stores (e.g Snowflake, Redshift, Hive, SQL/NoSQL, columnar storage formats) and methodologies (e.g dimensional modeling, data marts, star/snowflake schemas)
  • You are a SQL expert. You intimately understand aggregation functions, window functions, UDFs, self-joins, partitioning and clustering approaches to run correct and highly-performant queries
  • You are comfortable with object-oriented programming paradigms (e.g Python, Java, Scala)
  • You don’t need to be an AI expert, but you’re curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results

  • Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Revenue Operations, Business Technology, Business Intelligence and Data Science teams to support critical reporting and analysis needs.
  • Design, build and monitor pipelines that meet today's requirements but can gracefully scale with our growing data size.
  • Help democratize access to high quality data across go-to-market teams, Staff, and the entire company.
Desired Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience designing and building highly scalable and reliable data pipelines using BigData stack (Airflow, DBT, Spark, Hive, Parquet/ORC, Protobuf/Thrift, etc)
  • Experience with Go-To-Market stakeholders in the past.
  • Experience working at a fast-growing company or being a current Notion user.

Notion provides a centralized workspace that combines notes, documents, project management, and customizable tracking into one platform. It allows teams to write, plan, and share work using a drag-and-drop interface to build pages, add labels and tags, and organize information. An AI-powered Q&A feature helps users get quick answers and centralizes knowledge. The product is offered on a freemium model, allowing anyone to start for free and upgrade as teams grow or need more features. Notion differentiates itself by merging multiple tools—notes, docs, tasks, databases, and collaboration—into one workspace, supported by a global multilingual community and ongoing content, courses, and events. The goal is to help teams stay organized, reduce costs by consolidating tools, and boost productivity across organizations of all sizes.

GIC invests $270M in Notion through employee share sale at $11B valuation

Singapore's sovereign wealth fund GIC has invested $270 million in Notion through a private tender offer, valuing the AI workspace company at $11 billion. Sequoia Capital and Index Ventures joined GIC in purchasing shares from current and former Notion employees. The transaction provides employee liquidity whilst bringing new institutional capital. Notion removed the one-year vesting cliff on employee options to allow nearly all staff to participate. The investment follows Notion's expansion into Singapore with a regional office opened in mid-2025. Notion's AI-powered features now drive over 50% of annual recurring revenue, which recently surpassed $600 million. The platform serves over 100 million users worldwide across 21 languages. The $11 billion valuation represents a slight increase from Notion's 2022 tender offer at $10 billion.
