Requirements
  • Must be pursuing a PhD in Engineering or related field with an emphasis in Control Theory
  • Experience in digital control systems, linear and nonlinear dynamics systems
  • Experience in state estimation, e.g. Kalman filter, extended Kalman filter
  • Proficiency in Matlab and Simulink
  • A desire to work on GNC solutions that have real-world impact
  • U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data
Responsibilities
  • The Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) team uses principles of control theory, applied physics, and applied mathematics to design GNC solutions for Anduril’s autonomous systems
  • Design, build, and test GNC control laws in VMS (vehicle management system) software
  • Build vehicle simulation models to inform design trades, assess system capabilities, and establish system margins
  • Contribute to the develop of new capabilities to enhance existing products or bring capabilities and technologies to market
  • Collaborate across multiple teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality
  • Work on real, meaningful projects and learn from experienced professionals along the way
