  • Degree in Computer Science or related field, completion of a qualified bootcamp, or equivalent experience
  • Tooling and languages: .NET frameworks, C#, Azure DevOps, Git, SQL Server, test repositories, automation frameworks

The provider promises an end-to-end web front end with real-time quotes, automated design-for-manufacturability analysis and collaboration functions that were previously often spread across email, individual quotes and separate project repositories. The core of the platform is an AI-supported DFM test that, according to Protolabs, is suitable for injection molding, CNC-machining and 3D printing. Users should receive feedback on production-critical features, such as wall thicknesses, undercuts, tolerance concepts or support structures and component orientation for additive processes, even before placing an order. At the same time, ProDesk generates configurable quotations in which material variants, secondary processing steps and surface treatments can be selected.
