Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain supervisory control and data acquisition systems using remote terminal units and programmable logic controllers.
  • Integrate telemetry, human-machine interfaces, and communication networks.
  • Set up and troubleshoot Modbus and DNP3 communication protocols.
  • Implement, test, and maintain automation and control systems in substations.
  • Configure and program substation remote terminal units and communication equipment.
  • Support substation commissioning and relay testing.
  • Configure and test protection relays and remote terminal units in high- and low-voltage environments.
  • Integrate supervisory control and data acquisition and communication systems for monitoring and control.
  • Assist with substation commissioning activities.
  • Install and maintain remote terminal units, remote controllers, and monitoring systems.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in utilities, oil and gas, or manufacturing.
  • Experience with telemetry systems, radio and modem setup, and network troubleshooting.
  • Experience with electrical utilities or engineering, procurement, and construction contractors.
  • Experience with utility and industrial power systems.
  • Proficiency in International Electrotechnical Commission 61850, relay logic, and remote terminal unit interfacing.
  • Skills in protective relaying, supervisory control and data acquisition–remote terminal unit integration, and system diagnostics.
