About the job

Requirements
  • A strong track record owning and closing B2B sales cycles, including running discovery, building champions, navigating senior stakeholders, and creating momentum through complex deals.
  • Experience operating in an early-stage or scaling environment; ideally, experience helping a startup or go-to-market organization move from its earliest customers toward a repeatable sales motion.
  • Ability to create pipeline, form and test hypotheses, and determine what works without a fully defined playbook.
  • Strong commercial judgment to prioritize opportunities, assess deal risk, identify next steps, and determine when an opportunity is not viable.
  • Analytical approach, openness to feedback, and ability to adjust quickly based on evidence.
  • High standards and ability to turn sales learnings into improved processes, tools, and standards.
Responsibilities
  • Own the full sales cycle from discovery through evaluation, stakeholder alignment, negotiation, and close, while creating pipeline when needed.
  • Understand finance organizations, uncover business problems, and communicate Quanta’s value clearly to sophisticated buyers.
  • Build champions, engage multiple stakeholders, create urgency, surface risks early, and set next steps to advance complex deals.
  • Test approaches to messaging, qualification, demonstrations, business cases, and deal execution to understand why opportunities are won, lost, or stalled.
  • Partner with SDRs to improve targeting, messaging, and outbound strategy, and coach them on selling fundamentals.
  • As the team grows, help establish operating rhythms, standards, and feedback loops that develop SDRs as a source of pipeline and future sales talent.
  • Turn effective sales practices into repeatable processes, tools, and standards for future account executives, using AI to improve leverage and effectiveness.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience as an early sales hire or helping a startup scale from its first customers toward a repeatable sales motion.

About the company

Quanta provides financial management services for high-growth startups through a subscription-based platform. It handles bookkeeping, monthly financial statements (like Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets), tax filing, and financial metrics analysis, and uses artificial intelligence to automate routine tasks such as categorization and contract management. The product works by delivering ongoing, outsource finance support via software and AI-assisted processes, including catch-up bookkeeping to update multiple months of records and real-time insights on runway, cash burn, and ARR. Quanta differentiates itself from competitors by applying AI to reduce busywork and by offering a focused set of startup-oriented metrics and reporting within a managed service. Its goal is to help fast-growing companies stay financially healthy and compliant while they scale, allowing them to concentrate on growth instead of administrative finance tasks.

  • Quanta opened beta to any software business and now sells beyond early-stage startups.
  • Quanta says customers are turning off QuickBooks and NetSuite for its platform.

What critics are saying

What makes Quanta unique

  • On Aug. 29, 2026, Quanta launched Prism, an agentic reporting layer over reconciled finance data.
  • Quanta combines accounting services with a continuously maintained native ledger, not just outsourced bookkeeping.
