Hourly Rate:

AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not include vacation pay nor statutory pay.

Lab presentations, coaching, marking quizzes and assignments. Proctoring exams.

Minimum qualifications 

Strong understanding of Financial Management

Ability to apply grading rubrics and provide clear, structured feedback

Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage workload efficiently

Demonstrated ability to solve financial problems accurately and efficiently

Ability to interpret financial results

Proficiency in Excel

Minimum C.G.P.A. of 7.0;

Minimum grade of A- in ADM 2350 or its equivalent;

Candidates must be able to solve financial problems using (1) Excel and (2) the CFA and

LIFA approved financial calculator (Texas Instruments BAII+)

Experience with online course delivery considered an asset

Experience with online videoconferencing environment considered an asset (ex. Microsoft Teams

Preference will be given to higher grades;

Preference will be given to candidates who have previously been teaching assistants or markers for this course

Preference will be given to candidates enrolled in Telfer programs

Candidates on short list will be interviewed by course professor/coordinator

Please note that the posted hours could be increased by 10% to 30% due to registration.

Please note, you will be required to have access to a computer, internet, microphone and webcam.

Contract hours may be reallocated among different tasks, which the professor may adjust over the course of the semester.

Must be located in Ottawa for the entire duration of the course (with the exception of official University holidays), including through the grading of the final exam and calculation of final grades by the professor.
