About the job
- Bartending training and certification, including TIPS certification.
- Six months of bartending experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Must be able to lift and carry 20–40 pounds and push carts, portable bars, and related equipment weighing 50–100 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, kneel, maneuver in narrow areas, stand continuously during scheduled service, and climb approximately 12 steps.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions in English and communicate verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, remain organized, pay attention to details in crowded and noisy situations, handle customer service problems tactfully, accurately count cash, and operate a cash register.
- Set up the bar area, mix drinks, serve guests, clean up, maintain service quality and guest satisfaction, and support company standards and profit maximization.
- Prepare and serve drinks to guests and cocktail servers according to established beverage, safety, and company procedures.
- Perform guest-contact activities in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner while maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Ring guest checks, collect cash, and process credit and room charges according to company policies and procedures.
- Complete liquor requisitions and supply lists.
- Know and comply with state liquor laws.
- Maintain established par levels.
- Perform all sidework duties according to sidework schedules.
