Tube Bender 2nd Shift
About the job
- A high school diploma is required.
- At least 2–3 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Experience operating a Di-Acro manual bender is preferred.
- Ability to set up and operate a manual tube bender.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine workpiece dimensions and tolerances, operation sequence, and setup requirements.
- Understanding of basic geometric dimensioning and tolerancing principles.
- Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts, including multiplication and trigonometry, as fabrication requires.
- Ability to work with team members and take direction from a supervisor.
- Ability to focus attention on details.
- Independently set up and operate manual and CNC tubing benders to produce high-purity gas lines according to engineering drawing specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings and set up the bender with the required tooling.
- Operate a Di-Acro manual tube bender.
- Use measuring tools such as calipers and height gauges to inspect parts against required dimensions and tolerances.
- Collaborate with engineers, production personnel, programmers, maintenance personnel, or others to resolve fabrication issues.
- Provide training to other team members as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience operating a Di-Acro manual bender.
