Founded in 1991, the company is located just west of Austin, Texas, with a modern 60,000-square-foot fabrication facility. Position Overview 

The purpose of this positionis to direct and coordinate activities on the shop floor as it relates to theprocessingofmaterials. 

Essential Job Functions

• Maximizetheproductivity of people and equipment. 

• Supervises assigned shift/staff consistent with established policies and procedures to meet assigned performance goals. 

• Directs, coordinates, plans andassistsscheduling of work. 

• Promotes and supports good housekeeping practices,safetyand quality withinareaof responsibility. 

• Maintains effective andtimelycommunication between shiftsand departmentsto ensure continuity and cooperation. 

• Maintains necessary records for performance of hourly employees to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. 

• Administers necessary disciplinary actions. 

• Aids in development and adaptation to changes in methods, procedures and new or rebuilt equipment. 

OtherJob Functions

• Performother duties as assigned. 

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diplomaor equivalent 

• Three-Five years industry experience, including supervisory responsibilities 

• Knowledgeable in the operation andtrouble shootingof multiple production lines 

• Must be able tocommunicateeffectively (written or verbal) 

• Must have basic mathematical skills; works with production schedules,counts, production weights,and measurements 

• Ability to read fabrication drawings 

• Must be able to read and interpret production schedules, instructions,and procedures   

• Must be abletolift upto 50lbs.unassisted 

• Ability to work in shopenvironment and be exposed to heat conditions 

• Ability to work12 hourshifts on a rotating shift basis 

• Bilingual preferred 

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:

• 3G Certification 

• Minimumof  twoyears welder lead level welding experience
