Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an Engineer with an interest in water modelling to join our Sydney team, offering a pathway to advance your career in water and wastewater hydraulic modelling, strategic planning, and emerging data centre projects.
In this position, you will leverage your background in water engineering while enhancing your proficiency in water and wastewater modelling and planning. You will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of significant projects for GHD’s clients in Sydney and beyond.
Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Delivery of prominent and impactful water and wastewater projects across NSW, Australia, and internationally
- Applying technical, project management, and client relationship skills in supporting the delivery of proposals, investigations, and technical projects
- Solution development and preparing technical reports, and presentations
- Maintaining client relationships, business development activities and ongoing engagement throughout the delivery of projects
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering with 2–5 years’ experience in drinking water, wastewater, or stormwater projects
- Proficient in hydraulic modelling software such as InfoWorks WS Pro and ICM, experience in spatial analysis tools such as ArcGIS is preferred
- Collaboration skills across multi-disciplinary teams throughout project phases
- Skills in client relations and project management
